Breaking the Cycle of Over- Eating
Geared towards identifying, understanding and breaking the cycle of over- eating. Eclectic in approach emphasizing education, skill building and stress reduction strategies. Participants gain an understanding of their relationship with food and identify trigger foods and stressors which prompt cycles of over-eating and poor food choices.
Goal: for our clients to become more conscious of their relationship with food and gain behavioral control with eating.
Just for Women
Focuses on the specific needs of women and the prevention of negative effects of stress, including the development of negative coping behaviors may include over or under-eating, eating unhealthy foods, sleeping too much or too little, skipping work, over-working, social withdrawal, smoking, drinking, taking drugs, or taking too many prescribed medications.
Program rooted in positive psychology and focuses on stress reduction, identifying and developing personal strengths, developing a strong-positive support system, conflict resolution, self-care and setting personal limits and the building of emotion regulation skills -- ultimately, to design a lifestyle of healthy habits which promote personal health and satisfaction.

Skills for Living Effectively
Structured and skills training focused with the goals of developing personal and social competence. Based in Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Emotional Intelligence and stress reduction strategies, the group is designed to target problematic behaviors related to mood, anxiety, eating and thought disorders. The skills are also helpful in reducing relapse potential for individuals struggling with substance abuse recovery.
Goal: for our clients to actualize their potential as they respond more adaptively and congruently to life's situations — as they learn to regulate their emotions.
Managing Life: An Adaptive Skill Building Program for adolescents, young adults and adults with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders.
Focuses on educating participants how to identify and work through difficulties impacting their ability to function more productively.
Programming focuses on teaching skills in four areas, including: self-soothing and self-management, verbal communication, establishing relationships and transitioning into the workforce.
Group family sessions are part of the program and aimed at reviewing material with the opportunity to practice skills learned.
